New Instructor Tips
Ordering Textbooks
Please don't assume that books have been ordered for your class. The Bookstore does not keep books from the previous term or re-order books without an order from faculty. If you know which book(s) you want to use check with your department staff first about ordering, and if they don't do the ordering, use our online form.
If you require a special edition, a custom package, an access code, or if the book is needed for marks, please indicate this on the online order form.
Information Source
You can contact us by phone, email or in person. Check the contact page for staff you need to speak to.
The Bookstore can provide you with information on previous books used, timelines to obtain books, publisher contacts, as well as follow up questions.
|
Desk Copies
IMPORTANT The Bookstore does not supply desk copies. The publishers require you to contact them directly. They will not supply the Bookstore. Use the publisher contacts spreadsheet at the bottom of this page to source the publisher you need. Contact the Bookstore buyers if you need assistance.
Course List Posting
The course lists are available on the Bookstore website about one month before classes begin. The buyers enter the orders as they are received. If you see an error in your list, or don't see your posting, please contact the textbook department immediately.
Course Kits
The Copyright Clearance Centre has many articles archived from previous course kits. Please contact them directly for timelines and availability of articles. They are located on the main floor of the Keele Campus Bookstore, behind the Stationery department.
